The 14th Annual Rumble in the Rockies took place at MHOR RC Raceway in Aurora, CO. MHOR RC Raceway offered competitors a tight, indoor track with very high traction and technical timing jumps. The race consisted of four rounds of qualifying and triple A-mains.
After four rounds of qualifying Losi drivers took all three TQ positions in the Modified categories. Dustin Evan was the Top Qualifier in the Modified 2WD and Modified 4WD classes. Matt Chambers was the Top Qualifier in the Modified Truck class. Both Matt and Dustin equipped their Team Losi Racing Vehicles with Xcelorin Brushless Systems during the qualifying rounds, as well as during the A-Main races.
In the 2WD Modified A-Main Dustin Evans (TQ) won the A1 and A3 race to take the overall win, with Matt Chambers finishing in second place. In the Modified 4WD class Dustin Evans (TQ) took second place and Matt Chambers finished in fifth place. In the Modified Truck class Matt Chambers (TQ) won both A1 and A3 for the first place win and Dustin Evan finished-up in third place.
