Rookie Baggett Wins First AMA Supercross Lites Class Race of his Career

Rockstar/Canidae/Suzuki driver Blake Baggett had a great weekend at the AMA Supercross Lites Class Race in Irving, TX. Although Blake started the main in last place, that did not discourage him from aspiring for the win.

Blake was able to avoid a pileup in the first turn that resulted in removing nearly half of the competition from the field. Blake was able to battle his way into the top five, where he would begin his charge to the front in hopes of securing a spot on the podium. With two laps remaining, Blake was able to overcome the driver in first place to take the overall win.

Losi would like to congratulate Blake on his outstanding achievement, and wish him the best in the season’s upcoming races. Visit http://www.canidaeracing.com/ for more information on the Rockstar/Canidae/Suzuki team.

4 Weeks of "Rocking" the Competition

All over the US, the Losi Rock Crawling team has been busting the “Shafty” myth. Starting four weeks ago at Motorama where Jake Wright took home the victory, the team has been on a winning streak. At the WCC qualifier #2 held in Farmington, New Mexico, World Champion and Team Driver Jay Robinette took home the victory in the 2.2 Shafty class. A week later Jay followed up that victory by winning 2 different comps on back-to-back days. Saturday he took the victory in 2.2 at the local Hobbytown event and Sunday he crushed the field by taking 1st in both the 2.2 and 1.9 Class.

This past weekend, Team driver Nabil Jamali took first place in the 2.2 and 1.9 class at SDRCRC round 7 series held in San Diego, CA.

Also this past weekend Losi drivers Jake Wright and Marty Mann (from Montana) made the trek to St. George, Utah to compete in the Shamrock Showdown/WCC #3 qualifier. Jake took first place overall with a perfect score across all 5 courses with Marty following in 2nd overall, again helping to dispel the “shafty” myth.

All drivers used Team Losi Racing Comp Crawler Race Rollers, Xcelorin Rock Crawler ESC systems and 11.1v LiPo Crawler packs.
