Team Losi Racing at the "Baden-Württemberg" Cup
Race report from Germany:
6th Round Baden-Württemberg Cup
The penultimate round of the popular "Baden-Württemberg" Cup in South Germany was held in Laupheim. The host club presented a challenging track with a lot of obstacles and jumps. So track time was crucial for the 70 entries in the buggy class and 50 entries in the truggy class. Saturday started off nicely with a dusty track and practice in heat order. However right before the start of qualifying the rains came which meant the rest of the day had to be canceled. Welcome to racing in Germany ... As the forecast promised sun for Sunday there was still a chance for a great weekend of racing. Sunday morning and the first of two qualifiers went to Hannes Käufler in the buggy class, followed by Jan Dalgaard Hansen from Denmark. Ralf Dennenmoser likewise continued his domination in the truggy category.
Max Stölzle was sitting second in both classes with two great drives! The finals went underway late and Hannes Käufler took a convincing victory with a 30 second gap over teammate Pascal Sass who found a great rythm and earned a stellar second place finish.
The truggy battle was between Ralf and Max, which developed late in the race due to a horrible start by Ralf. Ralf put on the pressure however it was Max who held his nerves and finished on the top spot!
All in all it was a satisfying Sunday for a disappointing Saturday!

Team Losi Racing's Mike Garrison wins Missouri State Championship Rd.2
*Event: Missouri State RC Pro Series Rd.2*
*Date: July 6-7*
*Track: Novelty R/C Raceway, Novelty, MO*
Round #2 of the Missouri State RC Pro Series Championship made it's way to Novelty, MO this past weekend. Conditions were extremely hot with temperatures reaching as high as 105 degrees outside. The Novelty R/C crew did a fantastic job keeping the track in good shape and keeping the racers watered down throughout the weekend. Team Losi Racing /Horizon Hobby team driver, Mike Garrison, attended the race with his 8IGHT 2.0. Although taking TQ in qualifying Round 2, a DNF in Round 1 and a 3rd in Round 3 would put Garrison starting 4th on the grid.
After a long battle in the main, it would be Mike Garrison to take the win.
The Novelty R/C crew and State Pro Series director, Rex Franke, did a fantastic job putting on the event. Round 3 heads to St. Louis, Missouri at Dirtburner's on August 3-4.
A special thanks from Mike goes out to Team Losi Racing/Horizon Hobby, his sponsors and his pit guy/dad Greg "Homer" Garrison
