Ogden Takes the Winter Classic!

The Colonels Winter Classic was held at Savannah, GA this past weekend and Mother Nature was not cooperating. What was supposed to be a two day event, quickly became a one day event with qualifiers shortened and the man events starting around 1:00 am. The late night start didn’t affect TLR’s Cole Ogden as he lead the A main from start to finish! Ogden backed up his dominant win in buggy by taking a hard fought second place behind his TLR teammate, JR Mitch.

Phend Celebrates 10 Years and Signs For 2 More!

Team Losi Racing is proud to announce Dakotah Phend has signed a two year contract extension with Horizon Hobby. It’s hard to believe that 2016 will mark the tenth anniversary of his first signing with Team Losi Racing. In that time, Dakotah has positioned himself as one of the elite drivers in the world and earned the nick name “The Phenom”. With over ten ROAR National titles, numerous IFMAR Worlds finals appearances and countless other major event wins before the age of twenty…we’d say he’s earned it!

Dakotah will continue his long running use of Spektrum Pro level radio systems and high-performance servos. He has used Spektrum since the inception of the first pro level transmitter and trusts Spektrum reliability and performance to deliver more wins. He will also continue to rely on world championship winning Team Orion products carried exclusively by Horizon Hobby. From everyone at Team Losi Racing, Spektrum and Team Orion, thanks for the outstanding race performances and we look forward to more in the years to come!

Denny Signs On The Dotted Line!

Team Losi Racing is proud to announce the signing of Tanner Denney to its Factory Team. Denney brings years of experience and race winning results to the team including countless J Concepts Indoor National wins, KBRL Series wins, ROAR National finalist and the coveted Reedy Race Open Class Champion…just to name a few. Denney will once again be teammates with one of his local mentors, Ryan Maifield. Maifield took Denney under his wing at a young age and helped groom him into the talented superstar he is today. With these to two drivers working on the same team once again, it will push both of them even harder to go faster and achieve more.
To round out the deal, Denney will be making the switch to run the new Spektrum servos in all of his 1/10 and 1/8 vehicles. In the horsepower department, Denney will also be making a change to the World Championship winning Team Orion. With this ultimate equipment package and team support, look for Denney to take some major wins this season! On behalf of the entire Team Losi Racing family, welcome to the team.

TLR Takes 3 On The East Coast!

It was another great weekend for TLR on the East coast. TLR’s Factory driver J.R. Mitch attended the Thunder Ally RC Speedway Christmas Race in Wilson, North Carolina. Mitch was there to make it known that the new TLR 8IGHT 4.0 is the car to beat this season by setting the TQ and taking the win in the Nitro Buggy class. To back up his nitro buggy efforts, Mitch also set the TQ and took the win in the E-Buggy class.

To top off a perfect weekend, TLR’s rising star Austin Woodward finished second in the Nitro Buggy class with his 8IGHT 4.0, but laid it down in the Nitro Truggy class by taking the TQ and the win. Looks like the kid is making his presence known!

Maifield Doubles Up at J Concepts Finals!

When you want to make a statement and you don’t know how, take a page out of TLR’s Ryan Maifields hand book. At the J Concepts Indoor National Final, Maifiled walked away with a win the incredibly tough 2WD Modified buggy class by beating not one, but three World Champions in the process. How do back that up…by going out and doing the same thing in Modified 4WD buggy…that’s how! More proof that the new TLR 22 3.0 is the buggy to beat along with the always winning TLR 22-4.
