French Nats Sweep!

TLR is no stranger to race wins and titles around the world, but it is even more impressive when TLR can sweep the podium! This past weekend concluded the French National Championship Series as the 8IGHT 4.0 proved its performance once again. Taking the overall Championship was the amazingly smooth Renaud Savoya. Taking the next spot on the overall podium was Jean Pierrick Sartel and taking the last spot on the podium and completing the clean sweep was Jerome Sartel. Hmm…with the IFMAR Worlds coming up soon in Las Vegas, the TLR boys are looking like they are ready to take the title!

This past weekend the 2016 JConcepts Summer Indoor Nationals were held at Amain Hobbies Outback Raceway in Chico, California. TLR team driver Derek Stephansen drove his 22 SCT 2.0 to the overall TQ in the Mod Short Course class. Come main time, Stephansen took the lead on the opening lap and never looked back taking a convincing win.

Double TQ!

LCRC Raceway in Oakland Mills, PA hosted a ROAR Region 2 Series Event this past weekend. TLR team driver Jason Schreffler had a stellar race by driving his 8IGHT 4.0 to an impressive TQ and win in the Pro Buggy class. Schreffler’s TLR teammate Anthony Mazzarra put his 8IGHT 4.0 on the podium as well in third place.

In Pro Truggy, Schreffler took the TQ with his 8IGHT-T and had an epic battle, but came up just short with a second place finish. In Pro E-Buggy it was teammate Mazzarra driving his 8IGHT-E 4.0 to the second step on the podium.

TQ Hat Trick!

TLR team driver David Jenson attended the 5th round of the JBRL series at Rainman's Hobby and Raceway in Bakersfield, California. Jenson took the TQ and win in the 1/8 E-Buggy class with his Orion powered 8IGHT-E 4.0. Jenson also went on to take the TQ and win in the Mod 4wd Short Course class with his TEN SCTE 2.0. Jenson rounded out the weekend with a TQ in the ultra-competitive Mod 4WD Buggy class, but a slight problem in the man denied him of a “hat trick” for the weekend.

Monster Win!

The 3rd round of the “Monster of the Midwest Series” was held at The Ohio RC Factory. TLR team driver JP Richards driving his 8IGHT 4.0 was able to set the TQ in a rather stacked field of drivers. Once the A main started, Richards took advantage of his pole position and never looked back, taking an impressive win by two laps over the field.

Minnesota State Champ!

This weekend the Minnesota Off-Road State Championships was held at Jay’s RC Park in Starbuck, MN. TLR team driver Hunter Holmberg was out to prove how dominant the new TLR cars perform. After taking the TQ in Mod 2WD with his 22 3.0 and the TQ in Mod 4WD with his 22-4 2.0, his point was made but not complete. After winning the first two A Mains in both classes…mission accomplished…taking two State Championship titles!
