TLR driver's win big at Pro-Line Indoor Championship

The Pro-line Indoor Championships were hosted by Arizona's newest indoor RC facility Warehouse 3. Due to the amazing turnout of 327 entries the format was shortened from 4 qualifiers to 3 qualifiers but still using the standard qual points format with this being only a 2 day event. Things started off great for the TLR team with Charles Hicks taking the round 1 TQ of Modified truck, Chris Wheeler then TQ the first round of both Mod SC( Pro 2) in mid motor and 2wd Modified Buggy.  Trevor Clement would TQ Pro-4 SC. Round 2 would continue the TLR domination with Charles again taking the TQ in Modified truck to clinch the overall TQ postion, Trevor and CHris also took the TQ in our respective classes meaning TLR had locked up TQ in Mod Truck, Pro 2 SC, Pro 4 SC , and 2wd Modified buggy. We weren't done yet though as Charles Tqed the 3rd and final round of Truck Modified for a clean sweep as did Chris in the Pro 2 class. Kevin Kimberly took the final round of Pro 4 for a TLR sweep of qualifying in that class.

With Qualifying in the books, Sunday would consist of single 10 minute A-mains for all classes except Pro 4 which would run a 8 minute main. First modified main of the day was the Truck Modified A-main, Charles battled with Spencer Rivkin for almost the full 10 minutes and would end up in the 2nd spot. Next up was the Pro 2 A-main, Chris Wheel was able to lead start to finish even with Brian Kinwald pressuring towards the end and was able to take the win. In the Pro 4 A-main Trevor was able to lead wire to wire with teammate Kevin Kimberly coming in the 2nd spot on the podium and privateer Matt Kartozian 3rd also with a SCTE. TLR trucks would take the top 4 spots in this class with Robbie Kakela finishing 4th. TLR also took the victory in the 17.5 SC class with Chris Miller piloting a TLR 22SCT to the victory. 2wd Modified Buggy was the last race of the day and from the TQ position Chris Wheeler was able to lead every lap and take the win with teammate Trevor Clement finishing in the 3rd spot.

Way to go Trevor and Chris!

I am writing this to acknowledge two TLR drivers that have gone leaps and bounds to help a me a local racer. I took a three year break and when I decided to get back into racing Chris Wheeler and Trevor Clement were there to answer and guide me. They took me under their wing and have shown me how fun racing can be. This past weekend was the Pro-Line indoor championships held at Warehouse 3 in Peoria, Arizona. Chris wheeler answered all my questions and took another step that I have not seen in a long time. When I was up for my heat he was right there on the side of the drivers stand talking me through it and when I would make a mistake he would tell me to brush it off and get back to doing what I was and not push it.  Chris and Trevor both gave me advise that I can use in day to day life. I just want to acknowledge these two drivers and how I appreciate everything they have done and have my full support on Team losi racing. Thank you for having a great set of drivers.
