Truhe Wins Silver State with Tuned Flex Chassis

The 2008 Silver State Nitro Challenge took place March 6-9 at Boulder City Raceway in Boulder City, NV. After a weekend of racing, Losi/GRP driver Mike Truhe was able to take the podium for 1st place in the 1/8-scale Buggy class. Truhe competed at the Challenge with his Losi 8IGHT buggy, which utilized Losi's newly released Tuned Flex Technology Chassis. The new chassis features TFT, which greatly improves overall traction and stability on all track surfaces. This win for Truhe also comes after his announcement back in January that he will be running with GRP engines in 2008, fueled with Losi Nitrotane Performance Engineered Fuel. GRP Mario Rossi Tuned .21 Buggy and .28 Truggy high-performance race engines are distributed in North America exclusively by Losi.

Losi drivers Yannick Aigoin, Adam Drake and Billy Fischer were also present at the race. Aigoin finished in 5th place in the 1/8-scale Buggy division. In the 1/8-sclae Truggy race, all four Losi drivers finished in the top ten with Drake in 4th, Aigoin in 5th, Truhe in 6th and Fischer in 7th. Congratulations to all Losi drivers on a great race!
