After TQing and winning both rubber and foam classes at the ROAR Regionals a month before, the Team Losi Racing JRX-S Type R Racing Sedan driven by Losi Driver Dave Johnson came through to finish fourth at the 2009 Carpet Nationals.
After two rounds of qualifying Dave's sedan was in tenth place going into the triple A-Mains. Dave managed to improve the performance of his sedan during the A-Main races, where he finished in fourth place in each main. At the end of the event Dave took fourth place overall out of 54 drivers.
Dave equipped his JRX-S Type R with a 13.5T Xcelorin Sensored Brushless Motor and Electronic Speed Control and a Losi 7.4V 4400mAh 30C Hard Case LiPo battery.
