Round 2 of the BRCA Truggy and Electric 1/8th Buggy nationals was held at the ever popular NNRC Track in Kirkham, Lancashire, UK. In the 1/8th Electric Buggy class is was Team Losi Racing driver Richard Taylor who took the overall TQ for the day. Richard was using the new Team Losi Racing 8IGHT 3.0 Kit with the 8IGHT Electric Conversion Hardware kit (LOSA0912), Spektrum radio equipment and a Dynamite power system. In the three leg finals Richard would take the win in the first leg but then hit bad luck in leg two so it made for a winner-takes-all shootout in the final leg between Richard, Stuart Mahan and the multiple British champion David Crompton. Totally un-phased by the bad luck in leg 2 Taylor kept it all together to win the final by a clear four seconds in front of David Crompton.
In the Truggy event our very own Michael Lewis made the team proud by working his way from 6th on the grid to finish third overall for the day. A superb result and very well deserved, congratulations from the team.
