Team Losi Racings 8IGHT and 8IGHT-T were both top qualifiers at the Hao Bao Cup in Malaysia on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Losi driver David Lim, Malyasias #1 buggy driver, was the top qualifier in the 1/8th Truggy and the 1/8th Buggy classes. Racing his Losi 8IGHT, David was the only driver to successfully complete eight laps during the Buggy qualifier. And in the A-Main Truggy Race, David drove his 8IGHT-T all the way to the win.
