Losi had more A-Main contenders in the 1/8 Buggy Pro and 1/8 Truggy Pro classes of the 2009 Dirt Nitro Challenge than any other manufacturer. In the 1/8 truggy pro class six of the top fifteen drivers were competing with the 8IGHT-T 2.0 Truggy. In the 1/8 buggy pro class five of the top fifteen drivers were competing with the 8IGHT 2.0 Buggy.
In the 1/8 truggy pro A-main Losi driver Adam Drake took third place overall. Adam was using a GRP engine and Nitrotane fuel in this 8IGHT-T 2.0.
