Losi driver James Schlick competed at the 31st Annual Motorama Race. James competed in the 2WD Modified with his 1/10 XXX-CR Buggy, the 4WD Modified with his 1/10 XXX-4 G+ and 2 WD Modified Truck with his 1/10 XXX-T CR. Jason tells us that the indoor track was hard-packed clay with a top soil surface.
James equipped each of his vehicles with Xcelorin brushless motors and ESCs, as well as Losi's 7.4V 5000mAh 2-Cell LiPo battery. James also chose to equip both of his buggies with Losi X-3000 pink compound rear tires and Losi Taper Pin pink compound front tires. On his truck he chose to use Directional Rib pink compound front front tires and Taper Pin pink compound rear tires.
The race consisted of four rounds of qualifying and triple A mains. James was the Top Qualifier in both 2wd buggy and 4wd buggy. James went on to take first place in all three classes, winning A-Main one and three in 2WD buggy and A-Mains one and two in 4WD buggy and 2WD truck.
